Geocache Description:

A tiny cache alongside a small road that is nice for walking. Une petite cache à côté d'une petite route qui est agréable pour se ballader.

In the 12th century, Oujon Abbey was the first building to be constructed on what is now the territory of the town of Arzier. It is at the very start of the 14th century that the history of Arzier properly began with the construction of its charming little church dedicated to St Antoine. Today, this beautiful and great town of Arzier-Le Muids is part of the district of Nyon and boasts over 2000 inhabitants. Its vast territory, covering thousands of hectares, borders with Genolier in its lowest reaches and at its higher point stretches to the French border.

Au 12ème siècle, l'abbaye de Oujon fut le premier bâtiment à être construit sur ce qui est aujourd'hui le territoire de la ville de Arzier. C'est au tout début du 14ème siècle que l'histoire de Arzier bien commencé avec la construction de son petit église charmant dédiée à St Antoine. Aujourd'hui, cette belle et grand village d'Arzier-Le Muids fait partie du district de Nyon et compte plus de 2000 habitants. Son vaste territoire, couvrant des milliers d'hectares, passe du frontier Français, j'usqu'au les hauts de Genolier.
