A medium-sized plastic takeout container, easily accessed, good for beginners and near a popular cycling trail. Contains logbook and pen in plastic ziplock bag. Congratulations to ZorroBarnes for FTF! But he left the sparkly ring prize for someone else...Aug 2 2015 -Cache has been refreshed and dried out. Feb. 2016 Cache again refreshed and dried out. Removed the many prizes finders generously left but that, however, made cache impossible to close tightly.
Maryland and DC were once North and South, but this cache isn't far from where East meets West and where woods are separated from hills covered with rosemary. All sorts of lines come together here -- purple and those with a "marc". And believe it or not, you're right where Georgetown meets the Capital, as well. It might seem a bit precarious but you don't need to risk your neck to find this one. Don't branch too far off the trail and no need to blow your own horn - though passers-by may toot at you.
