A geo-cathering for the special 12-12-12 day! The official start time is 6:12pm.
To celebrate this day we will be hosting our first event! This location is a popular local restaurant and the plan is to order off the menu or you can just join us around the woodstove and share geo-stories!
We will have some new caches available for the event And we are also open to ideas and suggestions for other activities. But it is a school night so we won't go late.
Please post your 'will attend' note with how many you are by 12-10 so we can properly plan our event.
The location is on Rt 28 in Shandaken at the corner of the Esopus Creek and the outlet of the Shandaken Tunnel (part of NYC's water supply system) .
As geocaching rules prohibit putting details on commercial establishments in a listing, you can do an internet search on Rocco's Steakhouse and Speakeasy in Shandaken for info on the location.
