Winter Solstice.
Planetary alignment.
Solar Maximum.

Call this date whatever you want, it is a good opportunity to meet and greet at the Cline Observatory on the campus of GTCC in Jamestown! This event is just a meet and greet and have a chance to look at the stars! If the world is going to end today, then why not spend it with some of my geocaching friends.
The observatory will be open for viewings this evening. It is not a heated platform, so dress accordingly. Plan to bring your hot chocolate and and warm clothes.
We will meet from 7-8 ish in the evening at the observatory and hear what they have planned for viewing that night. Following the viewing, we may travel to someplace nearby for a quick warm up.
Stay tuned for updates and special announcements that may come with this event. Nostradamus may just have one more prediction we might be able to unfold!
