toy hunt #2 Traditional Cache
vmgreg: Hasn't been logged as bound in over 4 years now. A recent searcher could not find it. Since we no longer live in California, I will not be able to check on it. Maybe someone can hide a new cache in this area.

Clear Creek Ecological Reserve
There had been a couple of other caches in this area that were archived recently due to the CO no longer geo-caching, so we wanted to place a few new ones here.
To access this area, from Dersch Road, turn south on Clear View Drive. Turn right onto River Bluff Drive. The sign says "private drive", but you can go as far as the parking area at the bottom of the hill. Park at N 40 28.551 W 122 16.231
Each cache contains a log only, so be sure to bring your own pen. I've found the best way to remove the log from these containers is to stick the point of your pen in the center of the rolled log then pull it out.
Many people choose to go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. We decided to go hide some caches--so we went with a toy theme. You'll see when you find them.
This second one is located up this side trail. If you continue up the trail, you can access the river, but it does not go any farther. I'm not going to tell you what you're looking for on this one, it would ruin the surprise!
