Team Simber set up this cache 01/30/2005. They archived it 3/22/2011 for unknown reasons. It has a special place in my history because this was one of the first caches I found with my brother Tom of Garrett-n-Grandpa on his initiation to geocaching 10/08/2006. I checked today and the cache container is actually still in place and ready for re-finding by most of you or a fun new find for newbies. Parking iw within 150 feet along 165. The land on the othside of the fence is part of the Strip Mine Trails area.
This is Team Simbers original description of the cache... This is the location of the car jump. If you come from Placitas you can imagine what the Stuntman was in for.
I would encourage you to see the movie to get an idea of how the scene turned out. The car was to land in the barn and send chickens flying all over the place, but the driver, well you will just have to watch the movie to see what happened. The outhouse was going to be occupied at the time, but was reconsidered. The scene in the intersection of 313 & 550 (44) was an accident and then added to the movie and may contain the best line in the movie. I was lucky enough to do some work on this movie. The reward for this was $60.00, all the chickens you could catch and the straw in the barn.
