Tucks Bay 
I first came here as a child and have been a regular visitor for the last 40 plus years. It offers "back to basics" camping with just running tap water and long drops. Access to Tucks Bay is through the Long Bay reserve either by the gravel road at the north eastern end of the camp or by the pleasant waking track which winds it way around the point at the north end of the camping ground. The cache is placed at the Tucks bay end of the walk way about 10 meters off the path, trackside of large Pohutakawa under a large rock.Please note the road has a gate which is locked from 10pm to 6am
