Small cache positioned at a place with great views of the surrounding countryside especially southwards. Cache contains small pencil and small swaps at time of placing.
We have enjoyed the great and often unexpected views in New Zealand and were hoping there would be a view of Ruapehu here to accompany our 2 other nearby Ruapehu view caches. Sadly no view that way but Kapiti Island can sometimes be visible on a clear day looking southwards.
Please describe in your log when found if you could see Kapiti, or even the South Island. Photo too if you like.
