A kid friendly cache off a nature trail.
This KFC cache was placed in the Coughlin Nature Area (visit link) which is located at 625 E County Road Y, Oshkosh WI. You are looking for a 2 quart cannister filled with only KFC swag. Kids may take one swag item without making a trade. Cache is about a 700 yard hike from the trailhead. The cache was placed so it would have a minimum impact on the environment and be safe for kids to find. Please log any nature observations: critters seen, wildflowers blooming, or just the weather.
The area contains 35 acres of restored prairie and wildlife habitat with a grass walking trail, (visit link) and is owned by Winnebago County.
NOTE- There is a fork in the trail, you need to stay left and head away from GZ for a bit. The trail wraps around and comes within 25 feet of the cache with little bushwacking needed.
