Togari Sengen
Mt. Houkyou is the second highest mountain in Tsukuba city. There is a pagoda named "Houkyou" established in the Kamakura era. You can observe Mt. Tsukuba and Lake Kasumigaura from the top of this mountain. In addition, when it is a fine, you can enjoy a distant view of Mt. Fuji. This mountain is selected as one of the 100 Mt. Fuji observatories in Kanto area.
There is a small peak named "Togari Sengen" on Mt. Houkyou. According to Tsukuba city, around the top of Mt. Houkyou was called "Sengen-sama" by local people in old days. Since the small peak next to the top was sharp, it was named as "Togari(sharp) Sengen". Unfortunately, it is not good view point. However, there are some places to take lunch.
The cache placed on the top of Mt. Houkyou is the first hidden cache for me (GC2P2KH) . I would like to place another cache on Mt. Houkyou which has many difficulty rating stars. I am sorry it is an evil hidden style. Please enjoy...

尖浅間
宝篋山はつくば市で二番目に高い山です。山頂には鎌倉時代に建立された宝篋印塔があります。山頂からは、筑波山や霞ヶ浦が望めます。さらに、天気がよければ富士山の展望を楽しめます。宝篋山は関東の富士見百景の一つです。
宝篋山の一つのピークに尖浅間があります。 『とがり せんげん』と読むようです。 つくば市によると、 "昔、宝篋山の山頂付近を『浅間様（せんげんさま）』と呼んでいたそうで、 その隣にある山は山頂が尖っていたため『尖浅間（とがりせんげん）』 と呼んでいたことが名前の由来"だそうです。
宝篋山のキャッシュは私が初めて設置したキャッシュです(GC2P2KH)。 当時はジオキャッシングは名所を紹介するものだと思っていました。 あれから二年ほど経過し、 ジオキャッシングは宝探しの側面が強いことを学びました。 そこで、ちょっとえげつない隠し方をして星をたくさんにしてみました。
