This is the start of our trail that follows the Lake Wainamu Loop track. Do make sure you take shoes as there is a mixture of terrrain furhter on and the black sand in paritcularly can be blistering in summer.
We highly recommend walking the shallow stream to the left of the car park,to access the caches as its very pleasant in all seasons.
