Geocache Description:

Regular Cammo School lunch box Container 210mm x 180mm, 100mm.  Contains swaps, log book, BYO pen.

This is our first Geocache hide.  We have chosen this short walk that is child friendly and it is a quiet and beautiful location with gorgeous views of Lake Macquarie and this bay especially has many fond memories for our family.  Years gone by, you would be walking past many small and colourful boat sheds.  But now you will walk past some lovely big gum trees, in winter the flowering Wattle by the water and if you are lucky enough you will see the Wangi Sailing Club races out on the lake.  After parking your car at Wisteria Lane, you will walk along the waters edge to the West and pass the old jetty that was once a very popular swimming bathes.  The track will take you along the foreshore and up and over small rocks along the way to the nearby cache.  Watch your step and be on the look out for any broken pieces of glass, fish hooks or sharp oyster shells.  This should be a fairly easy find with the cache reflecting the surrounding colours of the foreshore and now with an updated fun theme for the kids at heart. *FTF* Honours go to Marcus Vitruvius! Congratulations!!
