Medium plastic cylinder with cammo. Approx 600mm x 60mm. BYO Pen. MAY NEED TWEEZERS or the like. Spoiler....(Do not open the end with the hook, line & sinker!)
Park the car at Dobell Park, near the public toilet block and boat ramp/jetty. USE STEALTH in this area. (Swaps could fit inside, but limited to 20mm diameter and because of it being close to the water we haven't bothered to place any for fear of them being lost in the lake). This cache is easier to complete at low tide (but not a must) and the kids can see the sea life around the pebbly beach. Be careful of any broken glass. The view looks out onto Pulbah Island and you can see the landmarks of many other caches in the southern part of Lake Macquarie. Once again we have made this cache kayak and boating friendly. And there is a nice play area for the kids at the park with BBQ facilities and a popular shallow swimming area along the foreshore. Close to shops.
