Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year!!!

The winter solstice occurs annually between the 20th and 23rd of December and is the day of the year in which the Northern Hemisphere is shrouded in the longest enduring darkness. With this much darkness enveloping our part of the world, you have to wonder...what is moving out there beyond the light? What kinds of adventures are awaiting geocachers in the middle of the night?? Bring your flashlight and come find out...

Unlike many other night caches, this cache is located at the posted coordinates. It can be found at any time... but it can only be opened at night.

The secrets of midnight have been locked away in this treasure box and hidden away from the world. Those who seek the secrets this geocache has to offer, be warned, the keys have been separated and cast into the darkness so that only those courageous enough to brave the unknown may find them.

From the posted coordinates keep your flashlight at eye level and shine its illuminating beam around to find the trails leading to the keys. You will know you are close to what you seek when you find a double reflector.
