Geocache Description:

This cache is in tribute to the character Galen from The Planet of the Apes TV series (1974). It's a camouflaged barrel of fun! It should be a quick PNG. BYOP! Watch for muggles.

Most people probably think of the physician when they cross Galen Dr. Not me! I think of the chimpanzee, Galen, who befriended two time-traveling human astronauts in The Planet of the Apes TV series. The first and third movies in the franchise are two of my favorite movies. Here's to Roddy McDowall for playing the lead chimps Cornelius, Caesar, and Galen in the franchise!

P.S. I can't help thinking about the TV show whenever I hear or see James Naughton in a Nexium commercial. :-)
