Geocache Description:

Beware there is a large chuck of old styrofoam within 50 meters of the cache that has a large yellow jacket hive.  DON'T LOOK THERE-honest.

For this holiday season we, Fanasfreaks and Davidandbritt, wanted to do something special for all our fellow caching friends. We wanted to give a geo-gift that would continue giving for quite some time. After over three months of paddling, our gift was complete. We hope you enjoy it!!! Have Fun!!!

This cache is one of 100 stand alone caches placed on Lake Lanier as a Christmas gift to our fellow geocachers.  Each of the 100 caches contains a letter/number combination.  Make sure to write those down.  You will need those to solve the 5/5 Island Madness Challenge Cache.

So as we were looking around to place a nice little cache for you, we noticed a rather large chuck of styrofoam near the high water mark.  Hmmm, that might make a good place to put a cache.  So David goes back toward the kayaks to grab a suitable container as Fanasfreaks goes to investigate the styrofoam.  Few seconds later David looks back to see Fanasfreaks quickly dropping the side of the styofoam he had picked up and vacate the general area with much quickness.  As if a Toe Bee was after him.  Fortunately the weather was cool at the time, so nobody was injured in the placing of the cache.  The bees were just hanging out minding their own business.

We pushed a little way away from the styrofoam and hid a special little container for you.

If you are ever interested in seeing what an underground beehive looks like with the honeycombs, check under the foam.  If you want to find the cache and avoid getting stung, avoid the styrofoam and follow your GPS away from it.

Happy caching!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to WakeboardLanier for the FTF!!!!!!!!!!!
