Linturetki - Birding trip

Tutustutaan kello 15.00 alkaen Lapin tunturilinnustoon ja maisemiin. Reitillä on tarkoitus kiertää ensin tunturilammille ja jatkaa siitä kiipeämällä tunturin laelle. Alkuosa on terrain-arvoltaan noin 2,5 ja tunturiin kiipeäminen vaativampi 4. Eventtiin voi osallistua vain alkuosaan, ei tarvitse lähteä kiipeämään. Koko kierros on noin 7 km.

Kansallispuiston maisemissa voi vastaan tulla mm vesipääsky, sinirinta, tunturipöllö, kiiruna ja tunturikiuru. Onpa tuolla nähty superharvinainen tunturihaukkakin toisinaan. Kiikarit siis mukaan ja lintuja bongaamaan.

Let's meet at 3 pm and take a hike around the national park. First we'll walk to ponds to check some birds there. Then you'll have the opportunity to hike up the fjell. The first part is T2,5 but the hike up is T4. You don't have to climb up and participate both parts. Whole hike is about 7 km.

Pallas national park is quite famous for it's birds. You might be able to see i.e. red-necked phalarope, bluethroat, snowy owl, rock ptarmigan and horned lark. And with a really good luck, also super rare gyrfalcon. So take you binoculars and have a nice birding trip!
