The 5th Annual Mid-Winter Flash Mob Event
THEME: Geocaching Parade
NOTE: The posted coordinates are the staging ground. You can park at the parking coordinates listed in the waypoints section.
NOTE: You are not required to march in the parade. You can show up at the Group Photo waypoint and get credit for the event by being in the group photo. Please bring a sign to display though.
DESCRIPTION:
This is a different take from previous year Flashmobs which involved geocaching signs. This event, we will march from the posted coordinates with our signs down the hill (approximately a 10-15 minute walk) to the Long Lake Town Offices building and take a group shot at the Town of Long Lakes sign. We will have approximately 15 minutes to make the march, and get in position for the group photo. Please bring a geocaching theme sign! Anything else is a bonus (i.e., geocaching clothing, lights, noise making apparatus,etc) - Surprise us!
Please arrive at least 5 minutes (or more) early, park your vehicles at the parking waypoint, and assemble at the posted coordinates and be ready to march at exactly 11:45 am.
