This cache has been located along the Mt Somers Walkway around Mt Somers near the Pinnacles Hut. The Pinnacles are some great rock formations. Take the opportunity and take in the views from this vantage point.
The Pinnacles Hut can be reached in about 3 and 1/2 hours from the Sharplin Falls Car Park. It can also be approached form the Woolshed Creek Car Park. The Pinnacles is a back country DOC Hut and can sleep up to 19 people. The cache consists of a plastic container. When placed it was filled with goodies as well as a log bog, pencil and pen.
