Geocache Description:

Continuing on my quest to find and place a cache near all the cemeteries in Massac County IL.

While at this location, Mr. Westerman stopped by and we had a chance to talk (lives around the corner, his cousin too). His great-grandfather purchased the land in the early 1800's and has been passed down now three generations.

Several of the stones in the cemetery are in Germany, Mr. Westerman indicated there were quite a few German settlers in the immediate area.

Please replace cache exactly as found, lid can be removed without detaching the hanging device on it.

As always show respect of those that have passed on before us - daylight hour caching only, please.
