Devils Gulch is located roughly south west of the upper Ice House Ruins(Ice House Ruins: Upper Cache by Dippedidooda). I walked up the Ice House track from the Springs to the upper Ice House then headed off track into what I think is Devils Gulch, clambered over very large boulders heading south west before exiting the area over the ridge line to the west. Cache is hidden in Devils Gulch. I was very tempted to give this a 4.5 Star terrain rating[Edit: Just changed it to 4.5 Star as a warning to TAKE CARE getting this cache], as the boulders are very large and the holes very deep in parts. This cache could be approached from two directions down from the track on the ridge line above, or from the Ice House ruins. I have logged the route I took on my gps(gpx file) if you would like it please email me, but it probably won't help much.
Please remember this walk is at roughly 1100meters in altitude and weather conditions can change rapidly, please take care getting this cache and prepare well. Cache contains log and pencil.
I recommend the Wellington Park Recreational Map available from Service Tasmania as it shows most of the current walking tracks on the mountain.
