Geocache Description:

Roundabout to Ramp Series: Cache 2
Elevation 101m

This is the second of a series of caches which will take you from the Roundabout in Tingira Heights to the boat ramp at the Lions Park in Eleebana.

The bush track you will follow takes you through a significant piece of remnant bushland where the trees are tall, the birdlife is variable and prolific and in many places the lake vistas enticing. This series is more about the journey than tricky hides.

Along the way you may encounter kids on motorbikes, horse riders and joggers with their dogs. During the week there may be workers maintaining the various pieces of essential infrastructure in the vicinity.

This second cache is located on a small side track to the south where the surrounding scrub is covered in flowers in Spring. This saves you from walking over a significant hill with a rough, washed out track. In addition there are wonderful views to Valentine in the distance.

When scoping out the cache, we encountered a small bird with a great whistle. From www.ebird.org we determined that it may have been a Tree Creeper.

You are looking for a very small bottle with room only for the log. Bring your own pen.
