Öxsjön är en sjö i Lerums kommun. Den är en av källorna till invånarnas dricksvatten.
SWE: Alldeles i närheten av cachen ligger Öxsjöverket. "Cirka 60 procent av vattnet som kommunen producerar tas från Öxsjön, resten från Stora Stamsjön. Vattnet renas kemiskt i filter och efterpoleras genom långsamfilter och aktivt kol. Desinfektion med klor och ultraviolett ljus. Vattnet från Öxsjöverket levereras till Lerum, Stenkullen, Stannum, Tollered och Floda".
Här finns det gott om mugglare, framförallt sommartid då sjön är populär för bad så stealth-mode rekommenderas.

There are plenty of mugglers, especially in summertime when the lake is popular for swimming, so stealth-mode is recommended.
