The cache is located on Peary Mt. which has a sweeping view of the mountains. Terrain is gently uphill until the near the top, then is quite steep. The hike is just under one mile (one way). I strongly suggest bringing a map, or two, because this trail is not blazed and you might also enjoy identifying the surrounding hills.
Parking is on Farnsworth Rd. In the non-snow season, there is a small "lot" to park in. With snow on the ground, you must park to the side of the road...but be sure to only do this when the plows will not be out.
Walk on the snowmobile trail that the owners of the Family Tree Farm "Little Saco" kindly keep open (you'll go right past this sign). Continue until you see a tiny sign (see trail coord) pointing you up a hiking trail. There is an old stone foundation near this junction that you might like to check out, on the other side of the snowmobile trail.
The container is a small lockable container. The location is not exactly winter friendly, it might get frozen in place, but it won't get buried right away. Please, choose your approach with great care, slowly, and sure-footedly.
