Geocache Description:

**Geocache is NOT at the posted coordinates! In the spirit of the cache name, the listed coords will take you to a Gibson County farm. Again, the GC is NOT located here**

Here is a series of caches with the goal of learning more about the counties in the Volunteer State. At the end of your hard work on this cache, you will finish near a place where you can really learn a lot about the agriculture in our state and county.  Stop in after finding the cache and take a look around.  Cachers from in and around our county may already have an idea about where the final site is, in general at least.  Hopefully, you'll appreciate the final site and learn a little about other parts of the state. I hope to continue this series in the future.

The final cache is at the following coordinates: N 35 AB.CDE W 88 FG.HIJ

To get the missing digits, you need an alphabetized list of the 95 counties in the state of Tennessee. Any search engine could provide you with this.  (Hint - do get the list that puts "Ma" counties - like Madison - ahead of "Mc" counties - like McMinn) Once you get the list, number them (example, #1 is Anderson, #95 is Wilson). The answer to each question is the name of one of those 95 counties. When you figure out the answer, find the county on your numbered alphabetized list. The second digit will plug into that slot. (Example here: if the answer to "A" is Wilson County, which is county #95, then A = 5)

With instructions out of the way, here you go:

A - The largest city in this county was likely named for a castle in County Kilkenny, Ireland and is the only city by this name in the U.S.
B - The Battle of Pittsburgh Landing in the War of Northern Aggression was fought in this Tennessee County (also known as the Battle of Shiloh).
C - This county bills itself as the "Birthplace of Tennessee", and is indeed home to its oldest town.
D - One of two Tennessee Distillieries that are on the "American Whiskey Trail" is located in this county.  It's the less famous of the two.
E - This county houses a large lake, formed by earthquakes in 1811-1812.  Bald eagles can often be found nesting here.
F - Speaking of hard drinks, this county is home to the other of the two Tennessee Distilleries on the "American Whiskey Trail", the more famous of the two.
G - This county was where the plane that held one "Crazy" singer as it crashed to the ground.  She died at the young age of 30.
H - The East Coast Hang Gliding Championships are held here every year.
I - Designing Women would not have been the same without Julia Sugarbaker.  The actress that played her was born in this county.
J - U.S. Secretary of Education (under George H.W. Bush), Governor of Tennessee, Senator. . . just to name a few things - and he was born in this county.

The final site is near, but not on the property, of the place described earlier.  Should be pretty easy once you're here.

If you want to confirm coordinates with me before venturing out, feel free to send a message. I don't want to use geochecker - it's too easy to get most of the coordinates, then just keep guessing until you get the rest right.
