Fly Swap Lie Swap Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Chorse: I am removing this cache due to the State Parks requirements. It was placed when I was more mobile. I physically cannot visit it once every 3 months. If someone else wants to take ownership, I would be more than happy to give it up. I will be removing the cache as soon as I am able.

Geocache Description:

For Fly Fishing Participants. Best to use a boat but can be found by an overgrown trail that contains several downed trees.

This cache is for people that enjoy Fly Fishing. The cache only contains artifical flies for fly fishing. The idea is to take a fly and leave a fly. Each fly is in an Easter Egg which should be left with the replacement fly inside. 30 years ago, this is the lake is where my new husband taught me to fly fish. It is still one of our favorite places to fish in the evening after work. Tell us about the biggest fish you caught here or if you haven't caught any here, somewhere else. The lake is Fly Fishing only and is Catch and Release with barbless hooks. Motors are not allowed. Due to a lot of people seeking this cache that do not fish, I have added additional items that are not fish related. I also added several more flies. So swap flies or swap lies. Just Enjoy.
