Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in the Dandenong Ranges National Park.

The best parking is available at the corner Glasgow and Sheffield Road. A short walk of a few hundred meters on well-maintained gravel tracks has to be taken into consideration.
The cache is located at the start of a presently very popular hiking track "The Fireline Track". People from far and wide come here to work on their fitness but also prepare for adventures abroad like the Kokoda Trail.
The flora and fauna is rewarding. So are the beautiful views the higher you climb up towards Mt Dandenong. It is hard to believe that this National Park is so close to suburbia. The cache itself is hidden in such a way that you don’t need to go wandering off into the bush too far.
The cache is a normal size cylindrical container and has some swapes in it.
