This letterbox cache will bring you on a journey to find the great Aslan, King of Beasts. You can stamp his image in your book and stamp yours (or draw something) in the log book. This stamp was found by wizard of oz 11 and I in a broken letterbox container lying out in the open in Utopia Conservation Area back in April 2012. The e-mail found in the container was no longer valid and thus it was decided that this wonderful stamp should now be part of a new letterbox cache.
Only the brave and perhaps the foolish will embark on this journey to find Aslan.
If you follow the instructions your travels will be easier.
The posted coordinates mark the START OF YOUR JOURNEY. (If you happen to be here during fair weather, you will be asked to part with some money but will be rewarded by being able to bring your mode of transportation closer to the waypoint marking the DESCENT.) From here make your way uphill on the great road. Keep to the road until you come to a fork. Veer to the right unless you want to find yourself wandering aimlessly. You will soon approach a gate and before you reach it you will veer left to descend to the Great Lake of Hearts at the first waypoint (DESCENT) via the great staircase. Make your way to the edge of the lake and then turn left on the trail.
Continue down the trail where you will pass another great staircase on your left. Keep going, Aslan is close... You will find him waiting here by the lake just a few steps from the trail (final location) (ASLAN'S LAKEVIEW).
Good luck traveller, may the gods be with you. Be weary of other travellers who visit these parts in the summer months. Should you be the first one to reach Aslan, you will be rewarded with a card that can be exchanged for a hot drink and a treat.
