Geocache Description:

Godzilla's on the loose! He came to NY from Monster Island and now he's come to Morikami - hoping to find his way back to Tokyo Bay.

This is a letterbox hybrid - the stamp and stamp pad MUST remain with the cache. There is room for other tradeables. This stamp is handmade by my son and commemorates Godzilla's visit to the Empire State Building.

As with my other letterbox hybrids the final coordinates are correct but you can follow the clues for some extra fun.

Park your car by Lake Biwa Pavilion (shortly after you turn off Jog Road). Turn away from Jog and towards the Morikami grounds. Walk through one of the breaks in the wooden fence and get on the path that goes across the field.

Continue west on the path towards the woods. The path will end and you can either go left or right. Do not choose either, instead continue walking west towards the woods. right before you get to the woods you will come to a large pine tree on a small hill (see photo below)

Go to the tree and turn to right. Walk 30 steps due north and you will be by a small clump of trees. Look under the palmetto bush and you will see a suspicious pile of pine needles.

Be warned - Godzilla is waiting for you!

Rehide as well or better than you found it (ie cover him up so he is not visible) - if you don't have a stamp that's ok... just sign your name or draw me a picture :)
