Invisible Park and Grab Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Draegon: Unfortunately, the ENTIRE area has been remodeled and landscaped. During all of the construction, the magic of the invisibility cloak was spent showing the muggles the cache and they did with it what muggles do best with caches.

Perhaps someday I will weave another cloak and support a new cache within its folds, but unfortunately this is not that time and this area would be well suited for a new cache by a new cacher.

Geocache Description:

Once upon a time, there laid a magical mystical item that was highly sought after. This item was a geocache. However, many geocaches exist around the world, though this one was special. How special you ask, well... special enough for a story to unfold.

This specific geocache had a unique problem, for you see, this specific geocache was invisible. Many talented seekers and finders made the trip and trek to this exact location, leaping over trees, digging through tunnels, crossing wide rivers and walking many, many, many miles had come to find the special prize of finding this magical invisible geocache, and yet they all left, shamed and defeated. All the while this poor geocache was left, in the rain, wind and snow, cold and alone.

As the days and nights passed, one after the other after the other, the geocache truly felt abandoned. One clear night, it looked into the starry sky and called out to the heavens. It sought purpose, it sought freedom, mostly, it sought rescue from this lonely status as an unfound geocache, for there are few things more saddened, than a geocache unfound.

After armies failed at finding this geocache, word of their toils had reached the ears of the reviewers, the ever-powerful beings that watch over all geocaches, over the whole wide world. Well, the reviewer felt that they needed to investigate this special cache, for they had already heard the quiet sobs of this lonely geocache.

Well, the great reviewers weren't the only ones that heard the quiet sobs of this lonely geocache. For across the village in the eastern cliffs of the great valley lived another being with magical powers all of its own. While not nearly as great as the powerful reviewers, this being was clever and cunning, and knew just the trick to try and help bring a special joy to this geocache.

Many nights passed while the draegon of the east hills worked its magic, piecing together a special suit for this geocache to wear. Weaving its special magic into every square inch of it. Only when this suit was complete, did the draegon fly over the valley to bless this geocache with a gift, The gift of invisibilty.

This gift had great magic in it. For now the cache would keep it's well-earned place as a difficult geocache, and its new invisibility gave the cache great pride, eager for the satellite winds to carry word of its renewed placement to all GPS units near and far.

And now boys and girls, it is up to you to help give this little geocache pride, to help keep it from becoming a sad and lonely geocache again.
