Taylor of T&D Cachers had put together this nice cache but he missed a critical step... placing it. A year later, we decided to help him out a bit by placing this cache for him.
Cache is located in Old Crossing Treaty Park. The Old Crossing was a crossing of the Red Lake River used by Red River ox cart trains en route from Pembina and Fort Garry to St. Paul. The park commemorates the treaty signed in 1863 by the United States and the Red Lake and Pembina Bands of Chippewa Indians, which ceded the Red River Valley to the United States.
Standard hide but the terrain is a bit steep with thorns and brush. We have set the not available in winter attribute for this cache but it should be a relatively easy find if there are only a few inches of snow on the ground.
FTF gets two $1 gold coins and a two dollar bill.
