This is a small cache containing a log only. Please bring your own pen.
Follow Route 100 to the town of Dunville in Placentia Bay. Near the cache location you will find a lookout that provides a great view of the lift bridge in the town of Placentia. There is plenty of parking space and even a couple of picnic tables. Route 100 is the main roadway to the ferry terminal at Argentia. During the summer months this is a busy area for tourists who are leaving for or arriving from North Sydney, Nova Scotia.
The cache is not in the parking area or on the wooden railing. It is located in an evergreen and hanging about shoulder height. You do not have to detach the container from the tree. Simply open the lid and remove the cache log.
