Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a pleasant spot along Mill Lane, and is a small tupperware-style container. It can be approached from either direction of Mill Lane, which is accessible to pedestrians, bicycles, horses, pushchairs, and wheelchair users (from the north end of Mill Lane). Car parking is available at the village centre, outside St Mary and All Saints Church (see waypoints), where a path through the churchyard will lead you north towards Mill Lane.

I placed this cache on behalf of my partner Tina, who spent her childhood in Droxford and who used to look after a famous local pony, William, in the 80's.

William was a beloved family pet of a local family, the Chambers. Many local children in the village were allowed to ride him, with permission, for free. The cache is located next to the paddock where William used to live.

When placed this cache was stocked with a selection of goodies including toys, a mini-chess set and several collectable thimbles. Please take care to replace the cache in it's original location, where it is not visible to passers-by.
