Check logs for additional GZ info. These coordinates will take you to the end of a side spur of the Ennisbrook Trail in Montecito. You'll cross a creek and enter a very cool (despite the invasive factor) eucalyptus grove. The final coordinates will be inside this cache.
You've all seen the YouTube videos of the high-tech, electronically-manipulated, machine-shop fabricated caches ... this isn't isn't one of those!
My 15 year old son designed and hand-built this puzzle cache out of pressed cardboard, duct tape, and glue (DIY all the way!) PLEASE handle with care - the cache is very fragile. Do NOT force it open! The puzzle is easy to solve.
When pulling out the handle, just pull it out far enough to open the lid. When pushing the handle back in, you may need to jiggle it lightly.
We placed a trackable inside, plus some other booty.
Look for us on YouTube ... NEXT YEAR!
:)
Because the GZ is a little hazy, here's some additional info. The trail spur ends where you run into 3 big eucalyptus trees leaning into each other. Curve around to the right for about 5-6 paces. Matchstick container cover with leaves. Congratulations to RonFisk for the FTF
