This cache is located is a tiny remnant of bushland tucked between Warners Bay, Mount Hutton and Tingara Heights.
In between a couple of new subdivisions is a great piece of bushland with a pair of gullys and a maze of walking tracks.
When we scoped out the cache we did a complete loop which took 45 minutes. In this part of the bush is a great creek bed which echoed with the sound of frogs. There was also ample birdlife; we observed male Superb Fairy Wrens and a gaggle of Kooraburras.
Whilst you can approach the cache from a number of locations we particularly like to start at the water retention basin at the end of Lamington Drive. The waypoint is provided.
You are looking for a small Sistema container with room for a few small swaps. PS take Aerogard after rain is you do not want to be eaten alive by mozzies.
