In the Jewish Religion, a child who turns 13 is called to read the torah to become a Bar Mitzvah. My son has studied for many years for this important day and on February 9th, 2013 he will be an adult in the Jewish Religion.
In Judiasiam, we are taught to give "Sudakkah", money or other donations. My son had to do a Mitzvah Project for his Bar Mitzvah. He raised money for drumSTRONG in May 2012. drumSTRONG is an event held in South Charlotte every year where 1000's of people gather together to drum for over 24 hours to help "BEAT CANCER."
