You will slowly climb to the cache.When you come to a switch back in the trail that has rocks piled around the outside and a pile of sticks behind them.There is and old trail that goes out into the woods.About 25 steps you will see a leaning tree and a large Jack pine.You are very close. You can make this a loop trail by continuing on up the trail,you only have a short climb left to go.The trail will intersect at a tee with the old foothills trail.Turn right and follow trail. It will bring you out at the bridge,cross the hwy and continue on trail it will lead you right by the whitewater falls. continue through the parking lot and out to the hwy, turn left and you can see the starting place.Round trip takes around 3 hours,1 hour if you don't do the loop.
The Cache is a ammo box.The original one was destroyed by a bear and Siisy-n-CR replaced it for me. Thanks you 2) it contain a log book,pen and pencil in a zip lock bag.This remains in the cache.
