This cache is next to the water tower. Caution: The metal around the tank gets hot in the sun, touch with caution. You do not need to be a rock climber or spider-man to get this cache. Please do not take unnecessary risks while looking for this cache.
This is one of my favorite places. It has an amazing view of St. George. Back in the 1950's Dixie High School and Dixie College held dances on top of the water tower. When I was in high school the water tower was closed to the public and surrounded by barbed wire. Around 2001, the city build a set of stairs to the top and put a railing around the edge. Check out the stairs and railing while caching. If you have time, there is a plaque that is worth a read.
