This cache is situated on the R 327 between Mosselbay and Ladysmith. This is the traditional route for the Railway bus that used to run between these two towns to service the Karoo community. The route runs over Cloetes Pass, through the town of Herbersdale and the scenic mountain passes and valleys of the Langeberge. It is worthwhile to take a trip on this route. If you lucky you will see some of the BLOCK HOUSES used by the BOERS during the war against the English.
