Geocache Description:

located in a small beach in an island in the lagoon.

These small islands are formed by mangrove trees. The mangrove trees are a very important coastal habitat where a lot of fishes are hidden during their inmaturity stage. You can see herons of diferent species, eagles and a lot of other animals around, also in the bottom of the lagoon. Watch for the rays, they can harm you. The cache is a glass jar under a tree in a small beach that is in a small island located in Nichupte lagoon. The area is an abandoned restaurant that is no longer recognizable. The way to arrive is using a small boat and the beach is covered with small shells or conchitas.

The beach is very shallow and a lot of small sea animals live in there. The area is covered with mangroves and is beautifull, Nichupte lagoon is in Cancun, Quintana Roo.
