Geocache Description:

Every week when I get my geo-newsletter, I review the list of newly hidden geocaches and am crestfallen to realize that there are so few new hides in my area. In the last several weeks, there have been fewer than a handful of new caches hidden within 15 miles of my home.

As any seasoned geocacher knows, the more finds that you accumulate, the farther and farther you have to drive to get to an area that has a nice concentration of un-found caches. I have to drive at least 20 miles to get to an area where I can spend a day geocaching (although some of you can attest to the fact that I can spend half a day looking for a simple 1/1 hide!

)

Well, I started to think about my dilemma.

I thought “You know Diane, if you’re not part of the solution, you’re PART OF THE PROBLEM! Too much seeking, and not enough HIDING!"

So I am going to be hiding some new geocaches. This is one of ‘em. Since it’s wintertime, and there was snow on the ground at the time I placed this, it’s a fairly simple winter-friendly hide.

This geocache is hidden in Brunswick's North Park. The park is open sunrise to sunset.

Please be sure to bring a pen with you to sign the log.
