The Cole Road Greenway is a relatively new trail system in Readington. We want to make sure people know about it and enjoy the nice walking in our township. This is the first cache we've placed here -- hopefully more will follow soon.
We want you to enjoy the walk and find a cache at the end. This cache is a lock n lock placed a little more than 1/2 mile from parking. We've given you three different parking options. We used the Hillcrest parking and will note that the trail will be muddy at times, so please wear the proper foot gear. The trail is over very gentle slopes. Other trails in may differ, but are similar in distance. We did not see hunting signs (hunting allowed) but we did see a hunter's deer blind near the trail, so please wear blaze orange during the season. Obviously there will be ticks (it's NJ) Please remain on the trail!! There is no need to go onto private or posted property (which is clearly marked) Enjoy!
