I came out here to try to retrieve the cache containers for three cache hides destroy by clear cutting...I mean thinning. I was actually able to dig out two of the caches! No worries, I don't own these trees and this is an active tree farm.
Out with the old, in with the new. I decided to put a cache next to the creek on a trail I often enjoy visiting at the end of a walk on Stewart. I hope you enjoy it as well. The cache is a small lock and lock stashed in the side of a nurse stump (we know how well that worked last time!) very near the creek. Please rehide well, the school district brings 6th graders out here to teach them about being outdoors.
Factoid: the trees inside the fence are the seed stock. Seeds from the cones gathered here sell for about $1. That is per seed, not cone!
