This is a nice historic cemetery founded in the 1850's - Abbott Springs Meadows Cemetery. It had fallen into disrepair but the it has been cleaned up and made a wonderful place to visit. There is a historical marker here. Everything is well maintained. While visiting the markers in the area there are some interesting histories to be read. There is a marker for a POW from the battle of Vicksburgh and many others.
When I have the time to stop and visit a cemetery I do. This on has markers for WOW and several other organizations.
