Kop van Jut
Deze cache ligt aan de Marcantilaan, gelegen tegenover de Markthallen van Amsterdam.
De naam Marcanti is een verbastering van Markt en Kantine, waarvoor deze plek vroeger ook gebruikt werd. Ter plaatse was het kantineterrein van de marktkooplui.
Tevens is deze locatie gebruikt als kermisterrein, waardoor deze landtong de bijnaam Kop van Jut kreeg.
De cache biedt uitzicht over het tweestomenland van de marktkanalen. Met zicht op het zuiden is het een mooi plekje om 's zomers even lekker te gaan zitten en boten te kijken.
Voor de bonus: Tel het aantal sterren op de tegels van het middenpad, lopend van de cachelocatie tot het uiterste puntje van de Kop van Jut . Dit levert D.

This cache is hidden at the Marcantilaan, the street facing the Markethalls of Amsterdam.
The name Marcanti is derived from the words Market and Cantine, for which this place was used in the past. The place was the cantine for the market vendors.
This area was also used for festivals and fair, that's why the tongue of land is also called Kop van Jut (High striker)
This cache provides a nice view over the 'Mesopotamia' of the market channels of Amsterdam. Facing south, this spot is ideal to sit down, relax, and watch the boats in summer.
For the bonus: Count the number of stars on the concete tiles in the gangway, going from the cache location to the edge of the Kop van Jut . This is D.
