Geocache Description:

This is a great outdoor search for a family leading to some interesting artifacts of Macklin's Centennial in 2012 and Macklin's early days in 1912. On a beautiful sunny day the challenge will be accompanied with lovely scenery.

This site would have had great significance in the early days of Macklin's trade, commerce, and immigration.

This particular spot was part of an award winning park in the 1940-50s.
