Geocache Description:

Another "BRIDGE" cache on the Beatty Saugeen River.

This structure was built in 1944 to serve as a dam that produced power for the Holstein Mill.

It used to be a railway crossing over the dam but when the railway disappeared, it has
become a pedestrian walkway along a rather short rail trail.

It is a scenic location and a popular fishing destination.

The Holstein Park is a busy spot especially in the summer for baseball games
and events at the pavilion. This grassy area is also used for outdoor weddings.

It's a short walk to the cache location but please watch your step and do not go around the fence.

Please place the cache back carefully in its original location.
