Palm Tree Creek Rest Area has been refurbished. There are toilets, covered picnic tables and a parking area.
This is a rest area 34km north of Mackay and 90km south of Proserpine. Overnight camping is not allowed but this is a nice spot to stop and stretch your legs.
The cache is a painted eclipse mint container. You will need to bring your own pen
