Geocache Description:

A nice place to park up and rest out your journy through Central Hawkes Bay

From the plque nearby: "This site was occupied by the Waipukurau Post Office from 1914 to 1992. In 1993 the site was converted to open space by the Central Hawkes Bay District Council for the benefit of all citizens of Central Hawkes Bay."

The park is in great shape with flowers and public toilets available. The cache is a simple park & grab under a seat in the park.  Enjoy your stay!
