Geocache Description:

A drive along the dirt roads of Susquehanna County will bring you to this park hidden behind the municipal building. The cache is a pill bottle.

I decided to hide a cache at a park that is very special to my family. The park was named after my brother-in-law, Charles E. Small, who died a number of years ago due to complications of diabetes. Though he had lost both legs to his disease, he never let it slow him down and was an inspiration to all. He had always referred to my three daughters as "Charlie's Angels". Hence the name of the cache. Charles, a township supervisor, saw a need for a regulation Little League ballpark for the children in the area. The supervisors were looking for land to erect a new building. James Hawley agreed to sell them 8 acres and to donate 2 more for the park. Charles then wrote several grant proposals and asked the community for help. Over the next few years he spent hundreds of hours of his own time organizing bees, getting bids, and ordering materials. Finally, in the spring of 1992 the ball field and paviilion were completed. When Charles died in 1996, the park was named in his honor.
